It takes a bit of time
a bit of change
and a bit of rearranging
things that wore their marks
into the carpets.
Striations on the walls
here and there,
a slightly foreign scent
upon the air,
but,
soon,
over time the change occurs
and, of a sudden —
like a blur —
the moving in is done.
