Time Zones

Time Zones
by L. Stewart Marsden

You are tomorrow,
and I, yesterday;
I am just breaking fast
as you call it a day;
We are poles from the other
where and as we each lay;
and it seems so much bother
that either should sway
to narrow the time zones,
diminish the gap;
much more easy alone,
and avoid more mishap
than to chance to close down
on the place and the time
where each dif’rence is known;
and the irregular rhyme
proves that you are tomorrow,
and I’m,
yesterday.

    I love time zones. If you play them right, you can stalk a person, morning, noon and night in every zone and still fit in a full day in your own! Cool! Haha.. 🙂
