The Sssssserpentttttttt
by L. Stewart Marsden

They walked in the garden, that innocent pair,
When a slithery serpent, with hypnotic stare,
Oiled his way to a branch just above where they stood
And hissssssed out his messsssssagessssss as quick as he could:

“Jusssssssssssssst doooooooooo hitttttttttt!
Mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmm! Ghoooooddddd!
Ssssssseeeeeee whhhhhat weeeeeeee meeeeeeaaaan?
Weeeeee doittttttt yhorrrrr wayyyyyyy!

“Doessssssss ssssssheeeeee or doessssssn’tttttt sssssheeeeee
Feeeeelllll likkkkkkkke a woooooomannnnn?

Then slithered the serpent, soon out of sight
While the hapless innocents, to the hisser’s delight
Began covering themselves in the course of their tour
And the snake happily hissed,
“Whhhhhennnnnn ittttt rainssssss, itttttttttt pourssssssss.”

Hmmm… From what I gathered I’m assuming the setting is the Garden of Eden and the product is the Forbidden Fruit. Did I get that right? I also like the fact you used a lot of sssssssss…. lol

Eden could be the site, sure. As you know, all of the serpent’s statements are from commercials, which are designed to entice and drive us to “bite the apple,” if you will. They are also mostly self-centered directives. The sssssssss stuff came from Harry Potter!!

      Thanks for the comments!
      : )
